Came here for a secret Santa party, plenty of parking. Not a long wait. It was nice , bathrooms were clean. The waitress helped us and was really fast. The food came out fast , no complaints really , got the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese which are really. The babg back ribs and tri tip. I really like the baby back ribs , tri tip is mid. It is super tender. I like the mashed potatoes are great. Prices are mid range can be expensive on what you buy

The service was efficient and the food was not bad. The menu is a tad pricey but we enjoyed it.

This place is so nostalgic for me... I grew up coming here with my family, enjoying the great food and atmosphere. It doesn't feel like the Wood Ranch that we grew up with anymore, but that's because it isn't. This chain has popped up locations all over and it's because they put an emphasis on good food and great service. That's exactly what we got... the service and food are still like I remember it which is great! The Buckeye burger was just like I remembered it and was cooked to perfection. The rolls are still amazing, but they only bring you a couple at a time which is kinda lame, but I'm sure it helps to cut back on food waste.

Wow I'm so glad we decided to come here for Dinner tonight. My husband and I called in to check what the wait for dinner was and the host whos name was Dylan I believe was very friendly and helpful. My family and I were welcomed into the restaurant with smiles and great attitudes. Our dinner was delicious. We started with the onion strings and dinner rolls for an appetizer which were very good. My husband ordered the Buckeye burger, which was seasoned perfectly and he really enjoyed it. I ordered the Tritip dinner which was cooked to perfection and you can't forget to get the sweet potato fries with chipotle ranch super good ! we will definitely be back.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon and they were pretty busy. We had a large group and they were able to accommodate us in the bar area which was great. I went with an all American bbq tri tip sandwich. I think that's what it was called. There was another one with cheese but that sounded strange haha. My sandwich was pretty good just could have used small amount of sauce. The beer went down all the same so I can't complain. Plenty of parking and space inside if it's not all full haha. Everything looked good that the people around me got so I'd be comfortable eating whatever. Oh ya the bred at the start is ridiculous. Try not to eat two baskets.

This is still a great place for some good barbecue. I'm a fan of the tri-tip and the barbecue chicken. All the sides are delicious. I particularly love the peanut coleslaw and the smashed sweet potatoes. Shredded onions and spinach artichoke dip are great appetizers. My new favorite appetizer is the crispy Buffalo cauliflower. The rolls are always the best starter. I am a huge fan of the house salad. Sometimes, I like to get the house salad and add some barbecue chicken to it. This makes a great lunch. The service is great. The food comes out quickly. The restaurant is nice and clean. Parking can be a challenge. This restaurant gets crowded! Make a reservation or be prepared to wait. We've been coming here for several years and will continue to do so. It's one of our favorites.

My husband wanted Wood Ranch for his birthday meal and we decided to visit the Moorpark location close to home. We have been to the Ventura and Camarillo locations, which always provided consistently delicious food and service. The Moorpark restaurant does have a small parking lot and we got lucky finding a spot. When we arrived on a Friday night at 6pm, we were told it's a 5-15 minute wait for a table. We decided to grab a beer at the bar while we waited for our table which is no problem. We each got a pint of beer and relaxed in the air conditioned bar area where it felt the least crowded and there were 3 tvs plays sports. When our table was ready, we were seated a few feet away in a booth and still in the less crowded side of the restaurant near the bar. Our server was Diana and she checked up on us frequently and refilled our bread baskets/drinks. My husband got 3 BBQ item combo and I got the 2 BBQ item combo. We absolutely love the tri tip and the baby back ribs. We also enjoyed the signature sides like mac and cheese, baked potato and peanut cole slaw. They do a birthday sundae treat here with a candle on top with no singing which is nice if you don't the whole staff singing happy birthday to you :) Thanks again, Wood Ranch Moorpark!
